Meet the Team Behind ButACake
The story of ButACake is one of friendship, expertise, and a shared passion for cannabis. Founders Matha Figaro and Yasmin Obie began creating ButACake’s signature treats in 2015, eventually transitioning to cannabis-infused baked goods in response to requests from their local community. They were joined by their lifelong friend James Barrett, who brings his expertise from working with European manufacturers and global brands like L’Oréal. Together, the trio formed CannPowerment to support ButACake and empower other legacy cannabis brands to thrive in the legal market.
